APACHE Loads, Dynamic Simulation & MacroFlo

Get to know ApacheSim: the central simulation processor which enables you to assess every aspect of thermal performance as well as share results and input across a wide variety of other VE applications. Calculations are based on first-principles models of heat transfer process and are driven by real weather data.

Course topics covered:

•  Creating thermal and HVAC plant data (profiles, HVAC plant properties, room setpoints, internal gains, air exchanges)
•  Creating constructions, applying thermal and construction data
•  Defining renewable energy sources
•  Performing thermal simulations and reviewing results in VistaPro
•  Creating opening characteristics and applying them to model
•  Performing dynamic simulations using ApacheSim-MacroFlo
•  Using VistaPro to review the effects of natural ventilation due to wind and buoyancy

About the Training

This is a Hands-on Training workshop for Energy Modelling & Simulation with IESVE. All trainings will be conducted personally by our expert trainer. Updated training schedules are available online at: https://www.qisquare.sg/training. Qi Square is an Authorized Training Provider of IESVE. All participants will get a Certificate from IESVE after successful completion of the training modules, as well as a one-month free license of IESVE sofware.

About the Trainer

In his decade long experience, he has led award winning green projects across sectors, working with new and operational manufacturing industries, FDIs, retail chains, healthcare, hospitality, governments, institutions, etc. He is adept at design of state-of-art green buildings, one of which caught the attention of and received recognition from Mr. Bill Gates. He has worked on multiple mathematical and simulation models to provide solutions for IAQ and thermal comfort maintenance whilst saving significant energy. As an IESVE authorized trainer, member of standards drafting committee and IGBC Fellow, he is a highly sought-after trainer and lecturer at premier institutions globally.
