Machine Learning specialist

Job Description:

We are currently looking for an ML Specialist to join our team in our Singapore office. The successful candidate will be contributing to our ML/AI endeavours involving Big Data, Data Modelling and Prediction, working in a multidisciplinary team with model developers, researchers, and software developers, both onsite and remote

Job duties:

· Algorithm development and validation and architecture definition.

· Development of software framework and firmware for algorithm integration.

· Algorithm integration and testing, and performance optimization

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in software development, data science and algorithm development who can bring with them a rich experience of developing commercial AI/ML software modules.

Skills and experience include the following:

Essential Skills:

· Previous experience working as a backend software engineer with experience developing ML applications and APIs

· Previous experience of delivering high quality code

· Experience developing code in C#, .NET Core, Python

· Experience of full life cycle development from capturing requirements to design to implementation, testing and QA

· Working experience of ML cloud / distributed solutions

· Working experience in developing AI/ML algorithms

· Ability to work independently or as part of a SCRUM team

· Clear and confident communicator with the ability to effectively participate in team discussions and brainstorming

· Experience of working in project-driven team focused on delivering value

Desirable Skills:

· 3+ years of commercial experience delivering production quality code for ML

· Experience with developing data models (e.g. NLP, ML models)

· Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and VM deployment

· Experience or a keen interest in IoT data management

· Experience with established frameworks e.g. Tensorflow

Simulation Engineer

Job Description:

You will be responsible for modelling complex projects. You will build detailed models, run simulations of building and mechanical system design alternatives and advise clients on the results of those simulations. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects and will be given the encouragement and support to challenge yourself and develop your career, as part of a unique team of building simulation consultants. Training on modelling and simulation tools will be provided.

Requirements:

We are looking for experienced building simulation engineers. Skills include the following:

· Clear and confident communications skills

· Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline, such as energy engineering or building services engineering

· Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and/or modelling of systems is desirable

· Experience of using building simulation software or related software tools is desirable (e.g. CAD, energy modelling, loads analysis, daylight modelling, solar modelling, HVAC design tools)

· Knowledge of LEED, GreenMark, ASHRAE 90.1 analysis and Building Commissioning is desirable.

Qi Square gets selected for EMA-ESG Grant

Qi Square was shortlisted under the Inaugural EMA-Enterprise Singapore Joint Grant Call for Local Enterprises to Develop Energy Solutions.

The Qi Square proposal involves developing a 'Real Time Virtual Audits for Demand Side Management (RTVA-DSM)' solution. In this proposal Qi Square will be working along with NTU Singapore and IESVE to develop the innovative solution.
